About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, commercially minded, and creatively driven Head of Marketing to lead our marketing function and help define the next chapter of our brand growth. This role blends high-level brand vision with hands-on execution, ensuring every customer touchpoint, campaign and partnership delivers measurable impact and feels unmistakably JENKI.

As Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for shaping our brand strategy, leading a multi-channel marketing plan, and managing a talented team to deliver innovative creative, content, and campaigns. You’ll work closely with the founders and leadership team to align marketing activity with business objectives across our Matcha Bars and eCommerce.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Strategy:

  • Ensure brand positioning is consistent across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Develop and deliver the annual marketing strategy, aligning it with business goals and growth targets.
  • Act as the brand guardian, balancing creative innovation with commercial focus.

Matcha Bars:

  • Develop seasonal and local marketing plans to increase footfall, repeat visits, and average spend.
  • Create in-bar activations, promotions, and launches that connect with the community.
  • Equip our in-store teams with marketing tools and talking points that bring seasonal specials and new products to life.

ECommerce:

  • Own the eCommerce marketing strategy across website, the JENKI app, email, paid media, and organic social.
  • Manage our ecommerce manager to optimise the online customer journey to improve conversion, AOV, and retention.
  • Drive subscription growth and matcha education content.

Campaigns & Content:

  • Lead the creation and rollout of seasonal campaigns, product launches and partnerships.
  • Oversee content strategy across digital, social, email, PR, and in-store, ensuring each channel has a clear role and purpose.
  • Ensure marketing activity is measurable and optimised, with clear KPIs and regular performance reviews.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage, inspire, and develop the marketing and ecommerce team to deliver high performance and creativity.
  • Build a collaborative culture within the team and across departments, ensuring alignment between marketing, operations, and sales.

Partnerships & PR:

  • Drive brand partnerships, collaborations, and influencer relationships that elevate brand awareness and credibility.
  • Manage our in-house comms team to deliver consistent and effective media coverage.

Performance & Insights:

  • Oversee performance marketing and eCommerce marketing activity, ensuring an efficient and ROI-positive approach.
  • Use data and market insights to inform decision-making and identify new opportunities for growth.

About You

  • 7+ years’ experience in marketing, with at least 3 in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in building and executing brand and marketing strategies that deliver measurable growth.
  • Strong creative instincts paired with a commercial mindset.
  • Experience managing teams and agencies across creative, digital, PR, and partnerships.
  • Confident communicator and brand storyteller.
  • Data-driven, with experience using analytics to inform strategy and optimisation.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift quickly.
