At this pivotal stage in our journey, we are seeking a Finance Director to spearhead our financial strategy and infrastructure from the ground up.

Role Summary:

As the Finance Director of JENKI Matcha, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our company. You will be the pioneer of our internal finance function, tasked with establishing robust financial systems, processes, and controls that align with our growth objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a hands-on approach to financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Forecasting: Take full control of the financial budgeting process, including the creation, monitoring, and adjustment of budgets to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Generate accurate and timely financial reports to inform strategic decision-making. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for optimization.

Internal Finance Function Establishment: Build the company's internal finance function from scratch, setting up financial systems, processes, and controls that are scalable for future growth.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to safeguard the company's assets and financial stability.

Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior management, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations. Act as the financial liaison with investors, partners, and external financial institutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of finance experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role, preferably within the retail, e-commerce, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record of building and leading a finance department, including financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and strategy.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, combined with an excellent grasp of financial principles and practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial software and advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
