MATCHA TONIC

We’re all familiar with a gin and tonic, and you may even have tried the newly popular espresso tonic, but what about a Matcha Tonic?!

This drink is surprisingly delicious and super refreshing - an absolutely perfect alternative to a matcha latte on these warm summer days! Plus, it’s oh so easy to whip up.

INGREDIENTS:

  • JENKI ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • Tonic Water 
  • Ice
  • Garnish of choice

 

DIRECTIONS: 

 

  1. Sift 2.5g of matcha into a bowl, top off with 40ml of warm (60-80C) water, whisk until foamy and no clumps remain.
  2. Add tonic water to a cup with ice, top off with matcha and choice of garnish (we think a simple orange wedge works wonderfully).
