Your Valentine is gonna loveee these - and they couldn’t be easier to make. Follow the steps below to make the matcha lover in your life very cherry happy 🫶

INGREDIENTS:

  • 250g fresh cherries
  • 100g white chocolate
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tsp JENKI Matcha
  • 50g dark chocolate
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut oil

HOW-TO:

  1. Wash and dry your cherries well
  2. Break up your white chocolate and add it to a bowl with 1tbsp of coconut oil.
  3. Use a double boiler (bowl on top of boiling water on stove) to melt your chocolate and coconut oil together.
  4. Line a sheet pan with greaseproof/parchment paper.
  5. Once your chocolate is fully melted and combined with the coconut oil, sift in 3tsp of JENKI Matcha powder and mix until smooth and consistent in colour and texture.
  6. Dip cherries into the matcha chocolate one by one, allowing excess chocolate to drip into the bowl.
  7. Place chocolate covered cherries on lined sheet pan, ensuring to keep them separate from each other, and place in the fridge for up to one hour to set.
  8. Once set, melt your dark chocolate and the remaining 1tbsp of coconut oil using the same double boiler.
  9. Once all nice ’n’ melty, use a spoon and a swirling motion to decorate your cherries as you please - Picasso!
  10. Place back in the fridge to set until ready to serve.
