Here’s how to make it:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of granulated white sugar
  • 6 tbsp salted butter
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • A shot of JENKI Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder
  • Milk
  • Ice

HOW TO:

  1. Blend 2 ripe bananas with ½ a cup of milk until smooth.
  2. Add 1 cup of granulated sugar to a pot and stir it on low heat.
  3. The sugar will start clumping and slowly will start to melt and caramelise. Keep stirring in order to prevent it from burning.
  4. Once your sugar is completely caramelised, add your butter and slowly melt and stir to combine.
  5. Add your banana milk to your caramel and cook down until thickened.
  6. Transfer your banana caramel to a glass container (while it’s still hot so it doesn’t harden).
  7. Add one tablespoon of your banana caramel to a glass, spreading against the walls of your glass.
  8. Add ice, milk of choice and top a shot of frothy JENKI Matcha.
  9. Sip and enjoy banana caramel matcha goodness.
