Tasty, sweet and refreshing!
Super easy to make, this drink is going to hit ALL the right spots.
RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- 500g fresh or frozen pitted cherries
- 120g water
- 120g cane sugar (or brown sugar, if you want a more roasty flavour)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Matcha
DIRECTIONS
- Get all your ingredients (except matcha) into a pot and bring to a boil
- Simmer for around 10 minutes or until cherries begin to soften.
- Bang it all in a blender and blitz until smooth.
- Strain if you’d like a smoother consistency.
- To make your latte, add ice to a glass, top with preferred amount of cherry syrup (we did about 75g, but depends how much flavour you want!)
- Add milk of choice (we used coconut which worked a dream)
- Add a portion of whisked up matcha.
- Enjoy!
